Age Requirement

The Confessional is for ages 21 and over and by reservation only. Reservations are required to check-in at the Welcome House. A $25 hold will be applied to each reservation to secure your spot, which will only be charged in the event of cancellation or no-show.

Dress Code

Elevated dress code encouraged. To preserve the spirit of The Confessional, we kindly ask guests to dress in smart, stylish attire. Ball caps, sandals and overly casual clothing are discouraged.

Membership Access

The Confessional memberships provide priority access to the The Confessional during operating hours, subject to capacity and house policies. Priority access does not guarantee immediate entry and may be limited during private events, buyouts, or peak service times.

Reservation or Party size

Parties of 4 or less will be accommodated with existing seating.

Reservations & Guest Policy

Priority access applies to the member and a limited number of guests, subject to house discretion. Guest access may be restricted during high-demand periods or special events.

All members of your party must be present to check in and be seated. We recommend arriving a few minutes early to ensure you enjoy the full experience.

Your table reservation has a time limit of 90 minutes unless the Hostess can accommodate a longer time frame. Once in The Confessional, no re-entry is allowed.

Membership Term

Memberships are valid for the term purchased (3-month, 6-month, or 12-month) and begin on the activation date. Will automatically renew if not cancelled within 30 days of purchase or 7 days prior to auto-renewal date.

Initiation Fees & Dues

Initiation fees and membership dues are non-refundable and non-transferable. Memberships may not be shared, resold, or assigned to another individual.

Bottle Drops

Bottle drops are distributed at scheduled intervals during the membership term. Bottle selections are curated by The Confessional team and may vary based on availability. Bottle drops have no cash value and may not be exchanged or substituted. Members must be 21 years of age or older to receive bottle drops and may be required to pick up bottles in person with valid identification.

Restaurant Discounts

Member discounts apply only at participating restaurants

(Union On Yale & Both Back Abbey Locations) and may exclude certain items, events, or dates. Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, special menus, or offers unless explicitly stated. 25% up to $100 per visit.

Blackout Dates & Events

Membership benefits may not apply on holidays, special events, ticketed events, or during private buyouts. Blackout dates are subject to change.

Code of Conduct

All members and guests must comply with house rules, responsible alcohol service policies, and staff direction. The Confessional reserves the right to revoke membership without refund for disruptive behavior, policy violations, or failure to follow house guidelines.

Changes to Program

The Confessional reserves the right to modify membership benefits, bottle offerings, or program details at any time. Any material changes will be communicated to active members.

Lost or Misused Memberships

The Confessional is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused membership access. Management reserves the right to deactivate memberships suspected of misuse.
